Champion John Lewis will be cremated at Ebenezer Baptist Church
John Lewis, a civil rights fighter and lawmaker in the United States, will be cremated at the historic Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta. The family of John Lewis announced that the funeral to be held on Thursday will be done in a private way. But people will be able to pay tribute in the days to come during the celebrations of Lewis’s life beginning in his hometown of Troy, Alabama on Saturday.
